Pretty average summer from him now that business is done.

Garcia and Rashford were decent acquisitions.

Still think the decision not to reinforce the LB or CB position is a big mistake.

Should have probably sold Araujo and a midfielder like Casado to make that happen.

He cant make other teams want Araujo or Casado. For all we know there were no offers

Its pretty fucked up that this club is still struggling with the 1:1 shit. Smh

I'm Still unclear as to how it's calculated. What numbers do they consider exactly? Wages, sales, sponsorship deals, money earned from titles? Last year they were saying the new Nike deal would help get back to 1:1. Haven't heard anything about that since.

Missed in all the 1:1 discussions is the fact that it remains a question only because of Tebas & Liga’s validation process of key funds increasingly demanding absurd evidence on specific stages of progress of VIP seats to be completed prior to validation, something never remotely applied for RM when they did similar with the new VIP deals where nothing was complete at time of being credited for those funds. This is a bit of a race with no finish line or one where the line keeps getting moved further away. A lot of legal discussions of this already on line on of what is permissible without having to go to CAS - I suspect some of this is linked to the path of least resistance

Systemic corruption in Spain is not revelatory nor is how the capital applies this in football to exert control - Laporta, Flick, Lamine & this Barça is putting fear back in the capital on being rolled up by this era of Barça

It's fucking strange some people can't criticize the fat guy for anything.

1. Alienated the biggest player in history of this club and this game
2. Keeps on outright lying and pawning the family jewels for immediate comfort for years now.

3. You will yet to see how much his pet project will end up costing in the end. New Camp Nou a MASSIVE cash cow for his friends and family. Get back to this post in 5 years.

Let see how this ages.

As well as your Rosell praise as president I'm guessing.

Many who appreciate what he's done has been critical.

Now Bojan is trying to turn the stadium into a negative lol

I think fat bastard is doing unpopular moves that were/are necessary. If xavi didnt fluke that la liga win flick would come one year earlier. Flick was the manager laporta gambled with, and fat bastard saw that with flick things could click. And he was right. We are after messi tenure right now team that everyone is excited to watch, fucking finally. Fat guy supporter, fuck it.

If the new stadium was a massive chance for personal gain through corruption, you think Barto would have kicked that particular can down the road for Laporta to profit from ??

The fact that Barto passed on the burden of a new stadium to his successor, tells you everything you need to know about the genuinity of the Nou Camp Nou project.

Camp Nou should have really been renovated while the club still owned Mini Estadi. It just made sense.

And if Laporta had stayed rather than Rosell coming in, it probably would have.

It's a shame also, nobody foresaw the immense growth of women's football in Europe. Hell, I was in the Euro scene 2015 and didn't get it. I only got it at the 2016 World Cup.

If we had caught win of it, the Johan Cruyff capacity could have and should have been bigger.

The idea of selling Mini Estadi was because it was a waste to have that land value and an almost 15k empty stadium for the attendances of Barca B games received.

But with the growth of the game that wouldnt be an issue now as the could tailor the stadium for the women's side. The current Johan Cruyff at 15-20k would have been immense.

And as a by product, would make the rebuild of the Camp Nou way less strenuous. I put this as another fail of the Barto/Rosell era.

Btw last point and tangent. Miss the days of driving into Barca and telling friends and partner, that's the Barcelona stadium pointing to MiniEstadi. Then the reaction when they say that's nice, but smaller than expected. Then saying "ok let's go to the club shop" and BAM, seeing the Camp Nou.

There was no bigger flex in those days.

Burden? Cost of it will fall upon next 4 boards.
Don't see how bringing Bartomeu in changes anything. As if one's corruption makes another man a saint. Or "saviour" as he's often called by some.

Said what I said, we'll see in coming years the true cost of it.
