Yeah, me too. I also expected to bang Claudia Schieffer while not having my own car and having no cash to spend.

Btw. That Yuste guy looks like a drunkard. Red face is a giveaway. Dont know who the new guy is. Info on his background?

My biggest gripe with him is he runs his mouth too much. Just stfu about giving public deadlines, especially about volatile things like construction. It makes no sense. idk if it's him or his PR team advising but either way, stop it.

Basic rule of of thumb is under promise and over delivery, it's not rocket science.

They are delutional, silly season has been a joke, all the while Real Madrid has brought in a new manager, replaced the people responsible for designating the referees and destroyed any competitiveness there was in the league with the help of Tebas. Real Madrid will finish la liga with 95-105 points and FC barcelona has no hope of matching that, 85 points would be an outstanding season.

In Europe I would be surpriced if we managed to reach a semifinal, we can forget about winning the tournament.

Unless you are a politician, which Barca presidents are. For those guys it's the other way around.

He promised to make Barca a winning team and he had delivered
So STFU about other random comments

All he does is win win win win win

Big J. But football, like politics, is funny. You get elevated by great leaders, then you get used to it, start to demand more and more finding all possible flaws in the process, bring down the people that worked to get you there, elect some clowns in their place... then miss them.

This guy took on a club on its knees after handing a dynasty in 2010, won 2 big titles in 4 years, brought the club back in top 3 in Europe, builds a stadium, fights with La Liga... great president.

He isn't mega rich, but he is smart, cunning, and loves the club. And you absolutely have to be a prick to survive in that position. Nobody is a great president without getting his hands dirty.

2 reasons he has the urge to keep speaking all the time:

1. He wears his heart on his tongue. (German saying for someone who always speaks his mind and feelings without thinking)
2. He's a lawyer, so he's used to speak that way.

I also hope he and the club stop announcing things without being certain and approved, but this trait isn't just negative. He has a big charisma because of it and managed to pull many highly qualified people to barca, either in his board or players. People underestimate the needed charisma in such a position. The only thing Bartomeu was able to do is writing big checks.

I don't care he runs his mouth. So what? It's part of his personal charisma. This big talk. I like it even. It doesn't cost us as much as people think. I agree he speaks more like an eager fan than a calculated president often, but that's because he loves the club so for me, not a problem.

Bro we came off a season where we won the domestic treble and scored 174 goals in all competitions. Why do you have such concerns bro? This isn’t like 2024 when Real Madrid added Mbappe to their European double win and we won nothing. Cmon have some optimism.

Laporta, like Tebas, shares that Spanish trait (yes, I know Joan is Catalan) of talk to keep the focus on you, and the pressure off the rest.

It's that and a cultural inclination or proclivity to showmanship. Aren't Iberics the ones who had the great idea to taunt a bull and make a show out of it?
