Diaz had a cracking start to the season when Slotball was at its peak.

For reference Liverpool fans and tempt also, was saying at that point he was better than Raphi.

If we get that version we have a great ready squad addition for the next season or two.

If we get the version of the second half the season, not so much.

Hopefully the recently helps our negotiations and we get him for 30-40m if we do indeed get him.

Diaz is amazing when he has full battery and full of will. When minutes pile up his level goes down. He can be a difference maker in a short prints I feel like. He is relentless like Raphinha when on good energy levels.

I doubt he can give that great level the whole season but if he is happy to come from the bench and do 100% work, he could be very useful like Olmo or Fermin. If he is happy with that role, he could have Fermin/Olmo type of influence from the bench. Which is great.

In this regard he is very similar to Torres, Fermin etc. amazing from the bench with full will and work motivation.

I like the link, irrespective of what WH fans think - he has identified some talents and there’s no doubt for me that Deco needs support as he never gives the impression that he is prepared for the scope of work required

Some good comments from WH fans. :ROFLMAO:

Lol good luck to Barca/any team that hire this PR merchant

Absolute fraud

Barca's new air host

Complete fraud. They seem to have fallen for his BS

He's going to be serving drinks on the private jet.

This is typical EPL fanboy salt when they lose out to a foreign club. They ooze superiority complex because of their belief they have the best league in the world.

Of course there is a chance they are right, but we certainly shouldn't place any credence to any of these comments.

Steidten news isn't exciting, but not tragic as West Ham fans think. Can't allow Deco to get drunk on power and it's better to have a clashing side. In the end one of them always leave, but that's usually after the silverware is collected.

Shame Alemany didn't want to share and look what happened to our dealings since.

I think West Ham's main complaint was that he didn't find them good talents. In that regard, he could be quite hit and miss. The Leverkusen stint was a success, but West Ham was a failure in that regard.
But what they do say is he is a good negotiator. And I think we are primarily getting him for his connections and negotiation.
He won't be the only one making decisions, and also not the "head of the team", so I am secure with him coming in. With Bojan and Deco, they are a good judge of talent.
Hoping we can secure some good deals.

I don't know who scouted them but they've bought guys like Kudus, Paqueta and going further back Bowen.

Not him most likely but they've brought in some talented players.
