They did. By PSG beating those EPL sides. EPL better at non elite level. That's it. Vs elite opponents from other leagues, they lose pretty often. Let's see this season.

No that makes PSG better than them.. not the top teams in France better than Barca/Real as a whole.

EPL has had x3 teams win CL in last 10 years.

No other leagues had more than 1.

More 'elite teams' is the point if want to look at CL winners.

Not that they have the best every season or are better overall than likes of Real in that time.

Top teams in France include PSG. You can't take PSG out. If PSG is good enough to take EPL teams out one by one... that's credit to them, and a failure of EPL.

Most you can say is EPL is better than other leagues at non elite level. But then, again, who cares? To be the best, your best has to beat other leagues' best.

Indeed it does... thats the point.

So any country that wins CL has the teams across board in that competition that year.. that the logic?

At the elite level? Sure. But it has to get proven in time. Accidents can happen.

Say PSG takes EPL sides and beats them again... big trouble for EPL.

The idea is that a league can be overall the best, like EPL is, but any idea about some high level domination has to be tempered a lot the moment your top performers can't cope with the beast teams other leagues have to offer.

Back when City and Liverpool made semis and finals in CL almost every other season, that was different. City look past it now, Liverpool is an unknown. League doesn't look as hot as before.

Btw, just a question. How is EPL better now with all their billion squads compares to mid 00s when Chelsea, United played a CL final, and where you had several PL derbies in CL semis, like about 2-3 Liverpool vs Chelsea?

EPL has CL win and 2 semifinists in 2005, CL final in 2006, CL final in 2007 and 3 semifinalists, 2 CL finalists and 3 semifinalists in 2008, CL final in 2009 and 3 semifinalists in 2009.

Come again and be clearer with the question.

Would you say that EPL was stronger in mid to late 00s considering how many EPL teams reached CL finals and semis than now?

I mean, results in Europe are way better back then than in recent years.

And if so, how can you explain EPL teams not being better now with all the increased funds?

Literally EPL has x3 different winners of any other league in last 10 years and been 2 all EPL finals that EPL teams beat other teams to win it.

No idea and dont see what relevance it has.

When are you saying EPL teams performed better?

Are you referring only to CL?

Of course. What else is there to compare directly between best of each league?

But you dont want to compare teams. You only think who wins counts.

There have been x3 winners from EPL and more runners up than anyone else in recent years.

EPL teams have beat other EPL teams to stop them winning it in finals etc.
