This window is for the 32 clubs playing the CWC. For others it starts June 16th ot first kf July

Its open for everyone. It is just that other clubs don't have the urgency to officially complete the deals before June 10th like Man Utd with Cunha.

This short 10-day transfer window was brought in for clubs participating in the Fifa Club World Cup this summer, allowing them to bolster their squads before the tournament starts in the United States on Sunday.

However, that doesn't mean other teams can't make signings.

Teams not playing at the CWC have been able to sign players during this short window as well, which closes for all clubs at 19:00 BST today.
The summer has been split into two windows, with the first having opened on Sunday 1 June and the second window will open on Monday 16 June before closing on Monday 1 September at 19:00 BST.

The early window has allowed teams participating in the Club World Cup the chance to sign players before the tournament begins on Sunday 15 June.

Manchester City and Chelsea are the two Premier League clubs competing at the Club World Cup, but any team can participate in the early window.

Fifa rules state a transfer window cannot last more than 16 weeks in a calendar year, hence the split this summer.

I'd feel similar, if I was an Espanyol supporter. Remembering how I felt when Neymar and Figo left the club for their own ego (or money) - one word, betrayal.
When players decide to leave on their own, it's betrayal in fans' eyes. When players decide to stay if the club wants to get rid of them, then they're ingrateful bastards who need to be insulted and kicked out.

Just a general observation, how most fans behave hypocritically if it comes to this topic. Respect shouldn't be a one-way street. If fans are fine with kicking players out before the contract ends, then they should be fine when players decide to leave as well.
On the other hand, if I respect the players' contracts and I'm fine with players staying as long as they've signed, then I can also be critical towards them who want to end their contract prematurely.

Looks like this is it:

Joan Garcia, release clause to be paid in the next days. Documents in place with him, all contracts ready for 5 year deal.

6 would have been better for ffp, but first signing now done. Welcome and let's hope he'll justify the hype. Flick's high backline will be a new experience, away from his usual low Espanyol block. Let's see how he'll handle it.

By no means a sure thing he'll be hit. As you said: diametrically different systems.
