He had a great game yesterday.

Much better player if allowed to press high up and take risks.

Not confident in him trying to defend against the better sides who will have more of ball but still has something to offer.

If he had freely expressed his opinion and it was something negative about the board, Everyone would've cheered for him, But when it appearentely his answer didn't conform to your own opinions, He's supposed to shut up?

He's free to express his thoughts, As is with everyone else.

No! He sounded like a typical sycophant employee. If an employee can't speak negatively about his employer risking losing his job then he shouldn't come out licking his ass too. An ideal reply to this question is: He is focusing on the next match and nonsport related issues none of his concern.

Have you people ever heard about diplomatic answer?

Really, what did you expect him to say?

That's not a diplomatic answer, that's a statement in support of them.

This is a diplomatic answer.

Valverde: "Everyone can express themselves as they think fit. It is a club that belongs to the socios."

Of course, but he should speak for himself only then, and not the entire team.

Pique did exactly the same thing and said 'we do not have a problem with the board at all'.

Lets be real if someone came out and said 'we all hate the board and want them to go' no one would have any issue on them speaking for others.

Dont think any of this will make too much difference either way.

What?, We're supposed to believe rakitic is unable to speak negatively about them because they might kick him out? LMAO

One can also argue that employees should not speak Negatively about their employer in public ,As it is they that offered them their contracts and give their pay checks, But I didn't see a single soul in here advocating this philosophy.

In summary, Let's stop the hypocrisy and double standards, If you or anyone else were glad iniesta denied barto's statments, And you were advocating for messi and rest of players to speak out against them, Then you clearly advocate for free expression of thoughts.
So when an undesired result happen with this policy, Everyone should be a good sport when things don't go their way.
There isn't a reason to make this more complicated than it actually is, Unless the actual intent is trolling.

Hypocrisy? Yes, becuase speaking positively about your employer could cost you your job, isn't it? Or we view Rakitic as part of the problem too since most of us wants him out (along with Gomes, Paulinho, Turan, Douglas) so his statment is classic conflict of interest. That would make him hypocrite, isn't it?

You lack proper understanding of the words hypocricy and free expression.

Not only Rakitic, also Alba is happy with our board. I think pppl need to start realizing that they have fallen for the Laporta propaganda machine.

Now with the internet and almost no censorship, anyone can pay others to run propaganda on social media.

There has been an exaggeration regarding Bartomeu, and it's showing.

Lmfao, sure, we're only against Bartomeu because of propaganda. I bet he paid you to say that...

So anyone who say he support is boss is hypocrite?
Garrus is right, Rakitic has the right to give such an answer and while we can disagree we have no right to complain about him, it could be true he likes them for all what we know

Conflict of interest is a practice so common in corrupted countries and a norm in the Middle East so I understand why both of you thinks it's ok.
