FC Barcelona have announced that Andres Iniesta will be out of action for ten to 15 days after he returned from Spain's WC qualifying match vs. Georgia.
FC Barcelona midfielder played an entire match of Spain's 1-0 victory in their World Cup qualifier in Georgia on Tuesday night. However, upon arrival at the Camp Nou Wednesday, he underwent tests that detected a problem with the adductor muscle in his right leg.
Iniesta's international colleague and Barca left back Jordi Alba also missed training on Wednesday with the Catalan club due to flu, but should be able to play in this weekend's trip to Getafe's Coliseum Alfonso Perez. Barring a quicker than expected recovery, Iniesta will miss both that game and Barcelona's opening Champions League group game at home to Spartak Moscow next Wednesday.
