I gotta say, what he said in the video left the impression he is in it for the long haul with Laporta - I did not expect that…that’s a TKO to the opponents without a single vote

We appreciate his loyalty to Laporta,
And I dont doubt Flick loves this club like no other.

Let's go Laporta, hopefully for many more years

Should be easy CDR win now. These lower league teams that play biggest game of their career was maybe most dangerous part of the competition... Madrid proved it after all

Bilbao, Valencia, Atletico.. all teams we had little problems beating under Flick. Bar Sociedad whom we would also probably win on a neutral ground

Espai is built on previous boards plans and future boards money.

Calma.

The womens side he inherited a womens side ahead of the curve and with best set up in world due to decisions taken before he arrived. Has since cut back the budget.

SAD is likely due to the decisions made for short term anyway.

No one is trying to destabilize Flick or anyone. Pure fantasy.

Dont moan about anything being 'destabilized' when the decision is taken for the election to be mid season for benefit of board.

This board is in charge with making those generic renders into a reality, which is 99% of what building a stadium is about. They have brought many many changes to those plans even in design phase, pre-construction, on top of making them real.

What kind of idiot builds a stadium in late 2020s with no extensive VIP and VVIP seating like what the previous board imagined. Thank god that board was gone before they could actually start implementing the project.

No extensive VIP seating?

Based on what?

Thankfully they rejected Laportas plans completely and he has adopted vast majority of theirs.

Thankfullly Laporta was gone before he could implement his plans and adopted Espai Barca when back.

Have you seen the initial renderings? It's just a roof and not much else. The dedicated double VIP ring appeared only after Laporta was unsatisfied with the initial plans and he altered them. And he was right, the double VIP boxes that surround the stadiums completely are what's gonna make this investment hugely profitable in the long run. Without that you have a mediocre project. That's the thing that puts this new Camp Nou on whole different level vs the old one.

Please... the only thing that remained form the original plans is the facade. Everything else was improved upon in a big way by the current board. This stadium is Laporta's work, of that you can be sure.

Like the guy or not, he plays in a completely different league than likes of Bartomeu.

This looks like the old stadium with 3rd stand leveled and a roof. Where are the money making boxes to spike the revenue? Nowhere in sight.

As soon as Laporta took over we started seeing new plans, new renders, with those VIP boxes added into the project. He went big, and was right, you don't cheapen out on an investment like this to save money. This is gonna be our home for decades.

Hate Barto but it's not fair to say that he didn't have anything to do with the design. The stadium will be mostly the same as in the first plans except Laporta added more VIP boxes which is not something to brag about, it's making the stadium look worse but I understand it from a financial point of view.

That is like saying it's the same car, except he added a new engine and a new transmission. What exactly is the same? The bodywork? The VIP boxes are what's gonna turn this investment into a money making machine in the long run.

Not gimmicks like led lighting on the facade, or 360 degrees scoring boards or whatever some clueless people think it's driving the profits up. It's the boxes for rich people and corporate businessmen, that's where a huge chunk of match day revenue will come from.

Everything except the VIP boxes rings and I could argue that Laporta made it worse with it. The last thing I want is to defend Bartomeu but it's true.
