We defended pretty well today. And created enough big chances to win the game.

But please... sign a serious CB and put Cubarsi on the bench. The kid is not ready yet to play under this pressure. He should be a bench player which is no shame for a CB as young as him.

2 CBs are needed and we kick it up a level big time. Try to sign one for free somehow, and find a 30-35m option we can build the defense around.

I agree. This is trashing in football.

Is he reading Barcaforum? Dude parked a mini van towards the end.

Not all of that is on Barca either.

It was far easier for Atleti to get ball into final third with Dro and Casado on.

That was more of the reason for it than a conscious effort to sit deep and reacted to it by then taking Christensen on.

“I think our performance was on another level. We played against a great team. We fought together, and that’s what I saw today. It was great, fantastic,” he told the media afterwards.

“I’m very satisfied. It’s important that new players keep arriving. There are some who aren’t at 100%, so we’ve had to make changes. We’ve gained more control, we’ve created more space. It’s been very positive.”

”Raphinha is a very important player for us. Having him back is great for the team. We saw him today, but we also saw him in the last match. I’m very happy,” he added.

“Pedri is fine, he’s a little tired. Olmo, we’ll see tomorrow. It’s always good to gain confidence against a team like Atlético.”

Dude looks 10 years older in the post match conference compared to last season. This season took a massive toll on him already

Expectations after overachieving massively last season increased. Way harder to motivate players as well.

And they were fucking him over before the start of pre-season. No signings after Deco yapping about Nico coming, almost botched pre-season, Inigo's shocking exit and then not knowing if someone else leaves. Not knowing if we would register Joan either nor when team returns to Camp Nou.

Barca is being ran by lazy people and amateurs and he's a disciplined, hard working and humble person. Bet A LOT of frustration comes from this too.

If he manages to defend La Liga with playing this attractive football while club still in state of crisis, he's cemented as Barca legend.

No team except Bayern in Bayernliga (+2) scored more goals than Barca in top 5 leagues. :flick2:
Honestly think he's massively overperforming with the non-existent budget he has.

Some of the L's look naive and clueless because of his dogmatic philosophy but it's also the reason why his teams score goals for fun. He plays the most entertaining brand of Football you'll see.

He needs and deserves way better defensive personnel and other squad reinforcements. He needs to continue with the in-game tactical adjustments like he did today. Sometimes you have to park the bus and see games out for the last 10 minutes.
