Chelsea's press was impressive after the red card. They choked Barca's gameplay in the second half, right until the final whistle.

It's not what Barca are used to in La Liga.

I think there is still and element of arrogance from La Liga teams towards EPL and a long out dated idea of beig far superior technically.

Barca are not adjusting much for these games and still think like of Lewa can cope and Barca will be good enough to take over game and ball up park.

When reality hits they look stunned.

For all those people blaming Flick, read the article below.

I've always said Barca has a culture problem. There are too many divisions within the club and any success brings about complacency.
If Flick is sacked he will just be a scapegoat for the failings of others. Viiz Barto, Laporta, Deco and the rest of the clowns.

There has never been a far superiority in football. Most of teams play the same football.

If you watch Rayo Vallecano - Real Sociedad game and compare it to Sunderland - Leeds, you won't see difference in the tempo or style.

The arrogance comes from La Liga dominating in international competitions in the last 15 years, and EPL claiming to be the NBA of football. Because EPL gets all the big money.

Getting fucking sick of seeing Balde and Cubarsi keeping teams just onside.

Mr Flick you have to fix it.

Even today without the extreme high line x2 goals it happened on.

Years ago there was a clear difference in technical ability of La Liga teams against EPL ones across the board.

It has log passed but seems like Barca still believe it the way set up.

Thus the reason EPL invested in Pep and Klopp to shaken up things after Sir Alex/Wenger. The goal is England to finally win the World Cup. Don't get fooled.

Perspective is also required. Liverpool, Utd and City have spent big and are still struggling. Chelsea are essentially football human trafficker and have spent a ridiculous amount too. They haven't won a serious trophy.
We struggle to register players and we won a domestic treble and managed a CL semi last season.
Flick is essentially relying on a motley group of leftovers and youngsters. No money to spend and the usual bs with club politics.
I would love to see what Lucho would do in the current situation, given he's the club saviour according to some posters here.

I’ve said it since last season: not a single one of these defenders get into another top team’s starting line up.

Not a single one of them.

Flick has no choice but to plays that down syndrome Araujo, school boy Cubarsi or pussy Christensen. And those boneheaded fullbacks in Kounde and Balde.

At what point does that fat dumbfuck of a president make the call to sell idiots like Araujo or cowards like Christensen?

This club is run by fucking retards. And it shows.

He has to find a way of dealing with the top teams who press high.

It cant go on that at the back 3 of the 4 can barely pass the ball out early and to anything but the most obvious of passes to wide players 10 yds on front on them.

It cant go on that there is a 37 year old CF who cant offer a run in behind or come to ball and take it in to releave pressure and bring game up the park.

Cant continue to have all or nothing AM like Fermin who can finish in and around box and create chances but has no idea how to put foot on ball or take it in and keep it to help game up park.

For me to help with those things..have to try Ferran at CF, Olmo at AM and told to be more a connecting player than a box crasher. He can.. when on form take ball in with back to goal to a whole different level to Fermin.

Garcia has to be in defence..probably RB and Cubarsi back to his favoured RCB. While Gerard and Christensen can fight for that LCB spot.

Far from perfect but something has to change in these games it is far too easy for teams at moment to press high, go man for man in midfield and defend on their own half way line.

Second time we've been hammered mercilessly this season. 3-0 tonight. 4-1 against Sevilla. Hope it's the last time we are embarrassed in this fashion. In both games Araujo sees red. Flick needs to start from there.
