I hope he continues this path of striving for more balance. I'm curious how this can turn out when Pedri, Frenkie and Raphinha will be back and in full rhythm again.

Lewandowski on the positive change in the team's atmosphere

[🗣️: "When I returned from the concentration with the Polish national team, I noticed something different: we all were very eager to play, and today that was reflected on the pitch."]

Doesn't paint the best picture about the general (usual) atmosphere.

Actually I don't think it necessarily means negative vibes. Most of the players just needed a break. We know they were tired/injured or exhausted. Mentally and physically. Some times the break is what you need. That's exactly what we needed.

Glass seem to be half empty to you most of the time. I am a bit cynical myself mostly, but your pessimism is a bit pathological. Enjoy the flickball while it lasts, because i doubt we will ever have manager that makes us play this explosive vertical ultra attacking way.

Having said that, i also noticed that in this game we were not exploiting ultra high line and offside trap that much. May it be that Flick has flicked some knobs? Think there was more tactical solidity against Athletic. Sure, the return to CN effect was real, but it just seemed like we never conceded that much trouble on oppos attacks as we used to. Hopefully that's the case and Flick can adjust a little bit. Attacking phase was great still.

Oh, I do enjoy it and I am one of his most faithful fans here.

Thought Lewa's comment was interesting regardless.
Just like Laporta's recent ones about Xavi. Present proves Laporta was right to drop Xavi but at the same time comments were unnecessary and indiscreet.

Why would he say that to Barca fanbase? When we had Eto’o Suarez Henry, Villa and Suarez?
He said the last decade.
So only Suarez qualifies.
And IMO he is better than Suarez. Maybe not Peak Suarez, which we only got to see in 2014-2016. But Lewa is consistent as fuck.
