Bro averages 39 league goals conceded across 3 full seasons.

2 of those seasons, with a backline tailor made for his type of football.

Some people CBs are the problem, smh. Facts don't matter.

just let the man cook and accept we will concede a shit ton of goals while he's our coach.

But when the Midfield is shit and gives us absolutely nothing, which has been the case in all of our bad performances this season, can't expect miracles.

What we really miss is prime Casado
We also can't play without both raphinha and yamal, one it's okay, two we have little chance
Yeah bro it’s not like we weren’t a defensive bastion ourselves before he joined.

LaLiga goals conceded before Flick -

2023-24 - 44 goals conceded
2022-23 - 20 goals conceded
2021-22 - 38 goals conceded
2020-21 - 38 goals conceded
2019-20 - 38 goals conceded

UCL goals conceded before Flick -
2023-24 - 14 goals conceded
2022-23 - 12 goals conceded
2021-22 - 9 goals conceded
2020-21 - 10 goals conceded
2019-20 - 14 goals conceded

LaLiga average before Flick -
35.6 goals conceded / season

UCL average before Flick -
11.8 goals conceded / season

What we conceded last season is equivalent to our average in the 5 seasons Pre-Flick in LaLiga and nearly DOUBLE the average goals conceded Pre-Flick. If we compare the attacking numbers though….

Flick leaving would be a great mistake. As several members have said, he is the most suitable coach for Barça. Let’s not forget that the team is still in a restructuring phase (last year was an exception), and Flick should remain at the heart of it. It will take as long as it takes.
The best Barça in history didn’t come together in a year or two, it took time, patience, and vision.
I agree, people became less tolerant and patient. Trusting the process is a good thing as well, greatness takes time and you can’t rush it. Now we’re in a rough patch but that doesn’t mean we are finished just like it didn’t mean Barcelona was finished when we were getting obliterated by Celta 4-1 and losing to Sevilla 2-1 in early 2015-16.

Yea true, which is why I keep saying just focus on him scoring goals, he and we will concede goals no matter who is in defense, unless we want to go the 22/23 route which everyone here hates.

All I ask for his that he makes adjustments when we are already in winning positions late in games.

We do not have capable owner/president as City, PSG, Bayern nor the fraction of their resources.

Expectations need to be scaled down a bit. Not that long ago mid table La Liga finish was predicted by many.

Mid table la Liga finish was predicted by 0.

You can tell Bojan likes Putin and trump, he just says shit regardless of how obviously wrong they are, to suit his narrative.

I hope fans dont want Hansi out when he wins only Copa or nothing. LL will be extremely difficult with the thin squad and the injuries. In CL a lot of luck is needed.

No. A season of no titles is accepted after a successful one normally, especially when you have a team and a squad with various and complex problems. Depends on how you end up though. If you start to get outplayed like that by all decent teams in the league...

But doubt it will get to that as I said. He will leave on his own if he feels he's out of ideas with this squad. This is not the guy to hang on to his chair no matter what.

A person with his ideas... he's the most ambitious of the lot. It's go big or go home.

You know I was thinking if we fail this season and Liverpool fail too, I could easily see him going there. He will have the budget and the players to play exactly the system he wants. I do not see the fans and the board taking any failure lightly of both clubs.

I could see Xavi coming back and trying to work with our limited squad and (presumably) limited budget.

This is just all worst-case scenario hypothesis. I do not want Hansi to leave, would love for him to stay at least 4 seasons and leave a lasting legacy like Pep and Lucho.

If he goes he will leave out of frustration with the board and how this club of this history and stature is run like a private village inn. Utter lack of professionalism and ethic on the highest levels.
