Loss not on him. Early pen set us back. Bad luck, shit defending ( :araujo: ) and poor finishing in the end cost us. If Lewa scores that Pen it would be a different scoreline. Just not our day today...again. Roony missed an absolute sitter.
Even so, going by your logic match should have ended like 8-4

Individual mistake
Tactical fuck ups
And a sevila coach that played the game perfectly.

Just can't be leaving your defenders and keep exposed constantly that's not a healthy way to play football.

Of course Flick is at fault. No matter the circumstances this result against Sevilla is unacceptable.

But at the same time, players attitude is like they play for Getafe. I could name 5-6 players in today's lineup, whp started for us and would most certainly not start for any other top club, contending for the CL. Martin, Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Olmo, Araujo, Szczesny

It's both squad problem and attitude/mentality (complacency) problem

He needs to figure out non suicidal methods to play. Smarter pressing that is not as exhausting, defending in other ways than what we are doing. If Sevilla smirks at your high line and throws it in your face like that, take the fucking hint. Something is off in a big way.

The team is not going to play the football he dreams consistently. Smarten up and give us something else to work with.

Flick is right. You can't cater the system because the players decided they are the fookin' nuts and don't want to put the work in like last year.

You have to have hope that the PSG game was a wake up call and they know they have to put the work in again.

Today suggests they needed another smack in the bloody chops.

Back to the drawing board after intrrnational break or it could get messy.

It's time to adapt. Stop this fucking nonsense suicidal high line. Even if u had WC defenders, this shit is so exploitable it's not even funny. Also the excuse of intensity is lame. You cant sustain intensity all game, it's not humanly possible to expect the players to press all game like mad men, they arent robots.
