I think teams are figuring us out. We need to change the players a bit and come up with some new things. If he repeats exactly same next season we will get cooked.

We need very quick and fast defense for this to work, smarts too.

We need a more measured approach instead of playing so risky all the time. You can press well and stay compact without playing a crazy high line. There are situations where we should drop deeper to avoid being exposed, (like Inter 2nd leg) Those are the things I want to see next season.

He's saying all the right things, we will definitely need to be more consistent throughout the season to win next year.

The last time a team lost 5 games and won la Liga was us in 15/16 season, and we only won it by a point.

Excluding games lost after the league was won like Villarreal today and the two lost under Xavi.

So we have to be even more relentless in terms of not just scoring goals but winning, Max 3 loss next season.

I have to admit that what he acoomplished this year with actual so thin team, it was a miracle. I will never forget that.
What is really concern me is his stubbornness keeping in the team same fucked players, starting with Flopski, Araujo, Martin, Fati, etc so many to name. I bet everybody that if we had a bad luck to get either Lamine Yamal or Pedri injured for a big amount of time, we are FUCKED.
This team cannot roll without any of these two players. Period.
We have to clean our team of dead wood immediately. He wants to keep anybody happy in the team but this is equal with suicide. Again, these two players literally pulled entire team forward.
Too many weak people who are not worth keeping on the bench and in the team (Flopski).
Any rational person on this world would try to balance his spending. Sell what you do not need, bring in players ( not at 32+ yrs old), pay attention to the salaries you are paying according to value of the player. There are huge inequalities in our player salaries.
I already am quite sceptical about future of the team considering actual approach of this coach.
Again, what he accomplished this year is HUGE.

Laporta is furious with him during kickoff and his statements

President Laporta was reprimanding Hansi Flick after kick off, as the manager tried to explain himself.

Hansi Flick: "Today was a celebration day, I don't care about the loss. We won on Thursday, so we celebrated on Friday. I always say that we shouldn't make excuses, but this is different."

Hansi Flick: "President Laporta lives for Barça. His whole life revolves around Barça. All he thinks about is Barça it isn’t healthy”

Hansi Flick: "I noticed during the bus parade that you celebrate things way more here. We're not so serious in Germany, we also celebrate, but not this much maybe it’s too much "

It's a concern that we're conceding so many goals.
Next season will be the acid test. I'm a Flick fan but an evolution is needed both tactically and personel wise.
Teams will figure out the high line, especially the better ones. Flick will need more tactical variety and I hope he is supported with the right players.
Also there's too much deadwood in the squad. Ter Stegen needs to go. No question.
Araujo and Fati too. If a good offer comes for Olmo, sell. I would gamble and sell Gavi at the right price.
Christensen too injury prone. Sell at the right price.

It's a concern that we're conceding so many goals.
We just won the domestic treble and missed the CL final by 2 minutes and people still talking about concern. Would it have been better to concede less, score less and win less?

Obviously we need to improve in that, Flick already mentioned it a few times. But he also said if you play every third day for 4 months, you have no time for training. You play, you rest one day, you prepare/travel next day. Add to this, that his football demands 100% sharpness and fresh legs until the last second, so it's no surprise we started to concede more than in the first half of the season. The players were simply more tired after this schedule.

This is no concern, but simply a logical result. There certainly won't be an evolution, neither tactically nor in personel. Flick will stay true to his style and for personel, we simply lack the money.

Liked what I heard in the post match, seems clear he sees the young team naturally improving in certain aspects to become even more ruthlessly clinical & prepared to anticipate situations they eventually had to adjust at half time when falling behind early + providing more options

That last bit says don’t be surprised to indeed see a LW brought in, a mobile forward to relieve Lewy and a lateral to give depth. He sees depth the biggest culprit and I concur, not a more tepid or watered down tactical approach

We outplay, everyone - defensively to tighten up, aided by better depth with a lateral(s) + Nico

Just the beginning
