You can yap on about Flick all you like but the fact is noone in the world is going to do any better. The entire defence is a tragedy, there is no midfielder to shield the defence and the attack misses too many chances.
This squad needs to be refreshed badly. We've had the same core since 2022.
Agree but he is going to lose the credit he built up from last season if he continues this head in the sand approach to the defense.

There's still the the problem with his views about defense. That's the big elephant in the room with Flick. This is probably what got Bayern fans fed up with him despite the attacking football he played there.

He's not viewed that great by Bayern fans.

That's not the impression I got from the Bayern fans I have spoken to.

They have however said he has some flaws which is showing right now. Basically not willing to adapt to the players he has.

Flick's style simply requires some seriously athletic players, especially in defence, and some depth. Our only players fitting that bill is Araujo who is retarded and a liability on the ball and Balde who looks clueless 80% of the time.

I suppose the other approach would be to get a more pragmatic, conservative manager that can make these milquetoasts work, but then the fans will complain about the boring football being played.

Victor Font already backed him as next year's manager before these losses.

What an opportunist.

Now can't even flip and do a Cesc, Cesc, Cesc turn without looking like an idiot.
Cesc is overrated. Truth is no top manager will accept this job because of our horrible budget. All these big managers bar very few are spending cash like there’s no tomorrow. I can only think of Flick and a few Serie A managers but they also all have massive budget issues

He definitely needs to just, otherwise he will lose the dressing room and will definitely be gone.
Still,no top manager is coming here with this defence and our finances.

Absolutely no manager will come to the club without knowing they'll be backed.

Likes of Lucho, Pep, Arteta etc spend more on one or two rotational players than Barca has in an entire two windows.
Any option available will most likely be a step down. To start with, top managers aren't frequently available anyway, and even if they were, as you say, nobody will come to the club without a promise of serious investment.

Winning back to back LaLigas with such a tight budget would already be an incredible achievement.
