Barca sought to control game out and take ball away from Inter for example... but Araujo arrived.

Now could say its his fault for putting on Araujo but not sure there was an alternative.

Except this is not last season. We now can't score 4-5 goals ourselves. He needs to implement some changes. When plan A is built on ultra pressing, it's short lived. Every manager is required to adapt. Talk about how we need to be better physically, do this or that, that's just speech. We either do that, or we need to plan for what should follow if we can't sustain that level of crazy press this season.

Fix Pedri and De Jong looking gassed like shite. Fix Olmo and Fermin bringing little contribution to midfield to help them. There's many on the list to do and try to make something out of this season if the press and goals are not gonna flow as well as last year.

What really needs to be looked at his why is every player so off form this season.

What ever happened in the summer needs to be studied.

Some of it is teams taking the summer to figure us out a bit more, but that's only part of it

He could even try Christensen in DM. Considering the horrible form of Olmo and the inconsistency of Fermin. Try to do something so that the defense doesn't look as shite. What is playing Garcia - Cubarsi as a CB pair gonna improve exactly?

Cubarsi should have been benched a while ago. Garcia played his best football for us as a fullback.

Did play Casado at DM to move Frenkie further forward v Girona etc.

But the issue is there is a huge drop off from Frenkie/Pedri to Casado and see it every time.

Also as sad before as soon as you take away the Pedri/Frenkie double it exposes the weaknesses in team even more.

I would have Eric in there as first option if Frenkie/Pedri not there.

Casados 'form' has been shite for not far off a year.

Nothing happened in the summer. The drop off in intensity is a result of a gruesome last season where every player gave everything they had for a long time.

Araujo/Kounde CB would be awful.

Both a fuck up waiting to happen. Poor on ball and one of them would have to play LCB.. probably Kounde.

The man marking of Pedri and FDJ becomes harder to get past with those two at CB.

We need to start picking up points. If we go to Celta and some other sides like that and play like we did vs Sevilla, league could be done by Christmas. We need to pick up points at least until the main attackers get fully fit again.
