Where is your plan B? This was clinically insane coaching. Doing more of the same expecting different results. The gap between midfielders and front 4 was enormous and we had no chance of getting the ball in the final third while RM was pressing....

He is fucking insane and all the GERMAN MEMES is finally starting to make sense.

What was needed in this game was a tactical surprise. We have shitload of injuries. Playing the same system meant playing a lot of players out of the position. IMO, a 4-4-2 at HT would be a great answer to RM's midfield dominantion. 4 attackers are useless if the midfield can't provide the ball.

Also, we are better than them in the air. And we got exactly 1 corner in last 30 minutes.

Tweak the system or it's curtains this summer. I like the guy and want him to succeed but he's lost me starting dumb and dumber as the CB duo AGAIN after they were already exposed. Balde and Kounde are also dumb, the entire backline is fucking thick as shit and he wants them to play this offside trap.. it's... dumb.

His plan B, is plan A again.

We all knew he could change nothing, no little tactical surprise, no tweaks to adjust for the injuries.

Just playing his plan A.

Araujo kounde Cubarsi Balde

Could have been given a chance today, since he doesn't want Araujo at CB due to his passing, kounde isn't a good a passed as Garcia, but better than araujo.

Just do something different.

On well

Everything I was afraid would happen last year is actually happening now and since I don't see any new ideas or changes it will end up with him being sacked at the end of year at most. It will be one hit wonder as this is no way anyone can play football all the time. Opponents tend to read your game from time to time, but this was/is an easy read. Crazy defending. Yes, some players are in weak form, top class defenders would do slightly better but you can't play like this for long. Notice how our attack also lost spark. Yes, injuries from Lew and Raph, also something is wrong with Yamal (either personal or injury) but we are slowly reversing to our slow, static football back. Watch their body language as well, it is again bad, like they are exhausted. So it is either our fitness coach changed something badly or it is mental drain. I think it is mental as this type of football is EXTREMELY mentally though. You need to score 3 or more, do great passing, dribbles, one- twos, some magic and your opponent just throws the ball and scores. Some of those victories is 90th minute unite the team but also drain. Last year we were always behind Inter, again tried, dribbles and all and somehow managed to get ahead - one ball, defender scores and we are out. And this type of goals is majority we get. This drains you.

The only hope for him IMO is that we have risen from a slump like this before after last year's horrible December. But he needs to do it again. Fast.

The Olympiacos 6-1 was, as I said, deceptive.

I believe Atleti in derby form would ping us in another dimension today.

Flick seems to have lost his players, they don't run for him or for the result or at least for themselves anymore.

They stopped pressing, they have no more joy to play, no urgency and they look lethargic, lost, aimless, useless.

And they couldn't change something or do shit even in El Clasico.
