The fact that Inter got thrashed by Qsg doesn't detract from our season. The Inter we faced was totally different from the one Qatar faced. The Inter in the final looked like a drugged, spooked out version compared to the one we faced.
We had a great season and played great football, overall. You're always going to hit some troughs during the course of a season but our peaks were high.
Qatar can go out and suck up all the French talent plus buy any player when they want to. Spent 70 million on Kvara in frigging January. We don't have that luxury. Pep spent big money in January and barely qualified for CL.
People need to realign their expectations with reality.

Somehow Flick is supposed to work miracles with a very limited transfer budget and la Masia. If la Masia produced a Lamine at every position I'd expect CL too but in the end money talks. Teams like Arsenal, Villa,Forest have more money than us.
Madrid will go all out this season which means the league will be even harder. As long as we qualify in the top eight in CL , we should rotate. Play kids in Copa and try and keep the players fresh generally. I mean even a club like Chelsea have a squad depth that we don't.

Inter being trashed has easily made flick lose alot of support.
Amongst the naysayers and haters who latch onto anything.
Fact is,if PSG faced the Inter we faced it would have been a much closer game. Remember. Villa almost eliminated PSG. Qatar were hanging by their fingernails against Villa. If Martinez didn't mess up Villa go through.
Barça's bet in goal goes through Joan García and Szczęsny, not Ter Stegen. Flick's idea has the full support of the board of directors and the sports management. @sergisoleMD
