He's almost 31 and been on the scene for a long time, so wouldn't really say it's hype as he's proven a very good player for a European title winning team.

I do think that his greatest strength right now is his availability. He kind of reminds me of Rakitic 16-18 where he played a ludicrous number of games for both club and country, that after a while they fall into the inevitable trap of coasting through games.

Tbf he still would have been pretty decent for us on low wages and on a two year contract like Memphis.

We don't really have much money to spend.

Gini is a good get as bargain deal, even at his age.
His agent was smart enough to drag it for long till an offer comes, and when it happened he was simply not worth it fir us.

Yeah, a bargain and a good get for the wage we offered him. For what PSG offered him it wouldn't make sense, and not only for us, for any team not being owned by a country/sheik/oligarch. He's simply not that level of a player.
