I agree that he wasn't the man for us and had to go, but let's not pretend we were amazing when he started coaching us. As I said on another thread, we've been shit for the past 2 seasons, and declining for the past 3 (though this season was definitely the worst of the lot). Or have you forgotten the 7-0 loss to Bayern?
But I do think keeping Tata would have maintained the downward trajectory. Hope Enrique manages to reverse it.
The failures of this season are mostly not his fault. By all means, he's had his share of mistakes and bad decisions that had consequences of their own, but he kept it together as much as he could. I hope he has huge success elsewhere and proves that all of this wasn't a matter of his incompetence. And thanks for being a gentleman. I will miss seeing this guy. Good luck, Tata!
He didnt have the faintest clue about anything, thats the truth. Just a yes-sayer who was afraid of the players. One of the worst managers in the history of Barca. I like the guy though, maybe he can have some luck with another team.
Wow the mods already moved his thread to this section. That was quick!
Anyway, I wish him the best of luck in his career. The task was unfortunately too big for him. However, he has increased his coaching experience tenfold and will be a success at the next team he coaches.
