So, 250-300 M package when you combine fee + wages.

Only a genius in the market like Edwards could pull this off
Edwards has five or six really great deals (Salah, Van Dijk, Alisson, Robertson, Fabinho, Konate) but even he got lucky with a few of those and can't have expected the likes of Robbo and Salah to be as great as they have been.

He has a long list of bad transfers too, of players who did nothing for them, even if they were for low money or they made good profit on them. Not sure he's the genius he is painted as.

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
As I heard they'll try and make a swap deal with Atletico.. Robertson + money for Julian Alvarez..

Man walks in to a Porsche showroom.

" Excuse me, how much for the latest Porsche Carrera 911? ".

" Base price is 70,000 Euros and it can potentially go up to 100,000 Euros depending on add ons. ".

" Okay, but how much will be the price if I throw in my 1996 Skoda Octavia ? ".

" Security, can you escort this gentleman to the exit, please. ".

This is one of the badest deals i have ever seen. Not because wirts isnt good, he is great but this deal is terrible. 20 million gross + 150.
This means 50 million per year for a 5 year contract. Why did liverpool a contract just till 2030?
for example we have to pay for lamine round about 170 millions for 6 years. And yamal is much better

There's a difference; Liverpool had to buy Wirtz, Barca didn't have to buy Yamal.

If a club had to buy Yamal, it would be similar if you add the transfer fee and wages

I don't think Yamals at Wirtz price range. We are probably talking about the most expensive footballer in the world history.

I am sure there is more than one club who would spend 300 million for yamal now, if he wants to leave.
But that is not what i meant, 50 million per season is heavy. I would understand it if he had a contract till 2031 or better 2032 but with a contract till 2030 it is a bad deal.

Quansah to Liverkusen for 35m. Liverpool have a buyback clause.

Well that brings down the Wirtz price a bit.

Quansah a 35m transfer apparantly. Slot that valuation right next to Neto's and Pjanic's fees of ours.

How do Liverpool get so much money for mediocre players?

Was the same with the likes of Brewster and (even though he looks decent now) Solanke.
