Did he do it last season?

I thought Fernandes might be one but I think he only has 8 goals or so this season in the league.

He means 10 goals and 10 assists both, in both of the last two seasons. I think...

Right, that would make more sense. I thought it was in one season over the past two years.

If we sign Wirtz I would happily let you guys sign Luis Diaz if the money was right. Although clearly talented, I've always found him to be incredibly frustrating, often making the wrong choice with his final shot or pass, and at times being incredibly greedy. At 28 he's not going to get much better than he is right now either, if at all.

No, it is phrased poorly, but I am sure it means 10 goals and 10 assists minimum both, in each of the last two seasons.

So a guy who scored 30 goals but got 9 assists in one of those seasons, would not qualify.

I think it's each season. Or maybe you mean nobody has been able to do it in both.

Even still, 10 goals and 10 assists over 34/38 games doesn't seem a high standard given how stats have exploded and attackers are favoured in this era.
Of course in each season, but that doesn't make it better. 10 goals and 10 assists shouldn't be a treshhold only 2 players in the top 5 leagues can achieve.

Wait, you're a Liverpool fan?

Yes. Lifelong Liverpool fan. But my partner is Spanish, and is a Barca fanatic, so although I'd stop short at saying they are my second team, I like to see them do well for her sake.
Finally another Liverpool fan here! 🫂

I thought you were just a Kane fan.

The question that should be asked is...

If Liverpool don't want Diaz, if he's surplus to requirements there, why should Barca want him? Barca are a bigger club and just as good a team, and they can do better than him for a backup LW imo. I'd prefer Lookman. But of course Barca have financial issues. But Lookman would cost less.

Signing players the selling club doesn't want is always weird to me, unless the selling club is spoilt for choice there and there's a hole in that position for the buyer.

Haha! No. I mean I do appreciate Kane more than some, but like every other England fan I was foaming at the mouth in rage at him during the Euros, when he could barely move.
Exciting times for the club. I really hope we'll sign a striker. I'm done with Nunez.

Exactly. He wouldn't improve Barca at all. He's no better than what they already have. I could understand it if he was on a free and he was just going to be a squad player. But they would have to pay serious money for him right now. That said, I do hope he stays and wouldn't mind him signing a new contract which is currently ongoing. I'd sell Nunez, Jota and Chiesa first.

Aye mate, totally agree. Obviously you'd take him free or on a cheap, but for the money Liverpool want and the wages he might demand? No chance.

Same goes for Rashford with Man United if they're holding out hope for a big fee from someone (not sure what his contract situation is).
