IF this is true, that means a significant portion of the Espai Barca money is pretty much written-off and we will have to borrow even more to finance it, since initially naming rights money was in the mix of expected income to help cover the cost.

The wording of the report is a bit iffy. It isn't clear whether the naming rights for Camp Nou are included in the deal we have with Spotify at the price reported. Could be included, or there could be a different deal with extra money on top of that. It does however say it will be a short-term one so it could be a deal until Nou Camp Nou is up and running.

No you are not reading what is being said it seems.
The naming was reported as short terms and prior to new stadium. That is what is being discussed.

So the Nou Camp Nou won't be ready until 2026 if I am not mistaken, the 68m a year deal would include potentially a four-year naming rights deal? Still being shortchanged.

It was never in the plan to finance new stadium with naming rights now.
You are wrong on that.
Being 'short changed' is a separate issue anyway.

No it was always reported the naming rights were to be when new stadium complete as could get more then.
It will not impact the plan to pay back anything or require it to be restructured.
Who knows if it is 60-65m for just shirt or stadium but either way they will have done what can to get as much as possible.

As of now, the Bar?a-Spotify deal will include:
- The front of the first team kit, it will replace Rakuten.
- The back of the training kit, which is now occupied by Beko.
- The title rights of the Camp Nou.
Spotify will pay around ?60-65M per season.
