Dont know but club will need to decide if all the noise is true that he doesnt want to play at B team level again next season.

Would obviously have to be a loan or sold if that is the case as he would barely play if was with first team.

Have said before I dont think he has been all that amazing this season and needs to improve on areas like decision making.

Never know what he was promised as a path to renew also.

Think loans should be used to get them out their comfort zone also.

Can all be a bit easy and pandered to at Barca in usually a strict way of playing that is very much a system.

Getting them out into real world can be a big benefit.

Fermin himsefl talks about how it changed his career getting away from the bubble of Barca. More than him could use it.

It is a sort of internship. A taste of real life but under controlled conditions.

It's also to "park" players that wouldn't have a spot (yet) in the first team, so they don't leave right after the juvenil teams. This way you also have a pool of players you can always pick from if you need it due to rotations, injuries, normal and pre season training and more.
Otherwise the club would have only 25 players available to pick from for the entire season, which is way too few obviously.
