All in all, a good result for McLaren they just need to control the race, they can let Max go. + the Mercedes, which could have been a nuisance for the McLarens, aren’t fast here (even though Russell would never, ever have given a hand to the hated Verstappen).

It's now up to McLaren to screw this up and I'm talking mostly about the team as pit crew and race strategy. There's nothing more Max can do about it.

1) Lando with classic poor start
2) Bad race strategy from McLaren
3) Pit-stop fuckup

Also Yuki is way back in 10th, kamikaze scenarios are low.
Brits can't win anything without a German car
*British.

The car is German in brand only. Mercedes F1 operate from bases in UK since the days the team was named Honda/Brawn GP. That includes the engine developed at UK factory.

Ferrari so shit they couldn't even challenge Norris with a better tyre.

John Elkann can go and fuck himself.

The Monza swap essentially won Lando the title.

If by some miracle Ferrari manage to ace the next regulations I want Piastri to come to Ferrari.

Maybe Verstappen wins if they sack Horner earlier considering he wanted to stop development on the car and his off the track activities turned everything toxic as fuck.

Guess we'll never know, but cannot be a coincidence that Red Bull's comeback coincided with Horner getting booted.

Verstappen with more wins, more pole positions with a clearly inferior car, and he practically never puts a foot wrong. Paradoxically this is the chsmpionschip that has cemented him among the greatest of all time.

Lando became champion by consistency. In Alain Prost style (1986 and 1989). High-scoring finishes securing the title, but lesser Ws than Nigel Mansell and Aerton Senna respectively.

Max is the best driver, but Piastri should have been the champion. The team screwed him in Singapore IIRC where he lost momentum afterwards and crashed out in an era where only sugardaddy drivers crash. Remember Latifi, Hamilton would have been 12-time champion today.

Red Bull played mind games in the end using McLaren's great start of the season as an excuse. I don't buy it. Carlos Sainz said in a recent podcast that after Ferrari he wouldn't have accepted an offer from Red Bull, knowing that this is clearly Team Verstappen now. Poor Yuki, achieved his dream and got total crap for a car. This left the impression that Max is winning races driving a fucking tractor. Fact is Alpha Tauri/Racing Bulls cars were faster than Red Bull's second car most of the season. Clearly driver 2 was sacrificed for Max's benefit. Checo Perez got the same treatment last season.

Of course this is part of the sport. Ferrari did it with Michael Schumacher throughout his 10-year stint, Mercedes did it with Hamilton after the cinematic 2016 season with Nico Rosberg. All in all Max will never get a great teammate again at Red Bull.
