Lando has the best car but nothing compared to Max. Even with the best car he made a lot of mistakes.

A lot of mistakes and bad races in a rocket of a car. He mostly wins only if he's P1 in qualies and keeps the lead after the first corner (yesterday he couldn't even do that with his amateur first corner of the race). He also has full backing of Mclaren even if they lie that they don't prefer any driver, after Monza it's totally clear who they want to win. I also think that they changed something on the car that fits Lando better than Piastri after Monza, Piastri's decline is not only mental. Anyway, put Max in this Mclaren and the season would be over 10 races ago.

Thankfully Max can still save us from having one of the worst champions ever.

You said it. If lando or piastri win the WC, it would be the worst champion!
Never failed someone with such a superior car. This car is as good as RB 2023 back then RB won all races except 1.

As much as you hate Lando and McLaren, today they proved they run a fair game. Both sprint and Q.

Somebody said "McLaren focus on Lando's car", meanwhile Piastri is close in finish, but nobody raises the question why Max is P3 in standings and his "whoever" teammate is P17.

Need Max to be super aggressive at the start. He has nothing to lose. Lando however has everything to lose and might make a catastrophic mistake under early pressure.

I think Max is just calmly waiting for the McLarens to pit. Doesn't make sense for him to fall behind with fresher tires.
