Still gave us two liga, one copa del rey and one supercopa, in three season.

He has done a great job in barcelona despite the embarrassing UCL loss.

Don't be ungrateful guys.
Nothing about ungrateful. Gave us dreadful football and instead of progressing the squad from the 2016-17 season we just kept regressing. Bottling a two 3 goal leads in 2 consecutive Champions League seasons is unforgivable. Should’ve been sacked after the 1st one. We lost our European dignity under this fucker and ever since we’ve been going lower and lower. Only salvaged some dignity by Flick’s amazing 24-25 season.

Yeah still trumatised by these loss. Sadly there are too many since Valverde, from setien with bayern, to xavi with the psg match and inter milan (hurts like hell still today, not coming in term with this loss).

So these kinda made these Valverde loss less painful.

I agree. I share the same exact sentiment I feel like that day will never ever be forgotten for the wrong reasons. To this day I never let it go to the point that I was talking to Yann Sommer about this game in my dreams. This was the biggest tragedy in the history of this club even worse than Bern 1961, Seville 1986 and Anfield. This was the closest we were to the European Cup final, so close yet so far. Who knows what could’ve happened if we reached that final, no way after a season that long and successful we lose the UCL final 5-0 just like the cowards that beat us.

If Mister was in charge of Barca, we would've been in the relegation zone. With all the injuries.

Have you seen the number of key players don Ernesto is missing almost every game? Prados and Egiluz (who had a great loan spell at Mirandes last season and was projected as a starting CB or at very least important rotational player) out for season with ACL while Yeray is suspended until April. Nico is far from his best playing through the same injury than Yamal, Sancet never been fully healthy, Inaki been out the last two or so months as well. And yet they are still competing for European spots while playing in the CL which they are not used to do.

Not having a reliable striker is their biggest weakness but not much they can do about that. Llorentes and Adurizes don't grow on trees. They are massively underperfoming their xG, only Rayo has slightly worse npG vs npxG and only Oviedo a worse conversion %.

And on the other side they are missing two key CBs as already mentioned while Laporte has also not been good after playing semi-retired alongside Siunaldo in a top 5 league for a few years. Unai Simon had a few clangers too like against us when he gifted us two goals.

So mister would do perfectly fine with this Barca team with all the attacking talent we have. And we wouldn't look like a 4th tier team defensively.
