Still gave us two liga, one copa del rey and one supercopa, in three season.

He has done a great job in barcelona despite the embarrassing UCL loss.

Don't be ungrateful guys.

Nothing about ungrateful. Gave us dreadful football and instead of progressing the squad from the 2016-17 season we just kept regressing. Bottling a two 3 goal leads in 2 consecutive Champions League seasons is unforgivable. Should’ve been sacked after the 1st one. We lost our European dignity under this fucker and ever since we’ve been going lower and lower. Only salvaged some dignity by Flick’s amazing 24-25 season.

Yeah still trumatised by these loss. Sadly there are too many since Valverde, from setien with bayern, to xavi with the psg match and inter milan (hurts like hell still today, not coming in term with this loss).

So these kinda made these Valverde loss less painful.

I agree. I share the same exact sentiment I feel like that day will never ever be forgotten for the wrong reasons. To this day I never let it go to the point that I was talking to Yann Sommer about this game in my dreams. This was the biggest tragedy in the history of this club even worse than Bern 1961, Seville 1986 and Anfield. This was the closest we were to the European Cup final, so close yet so far. Who knows what could’ve happened if we reached that final, no way after a season that long and successful we lose the UCL final 5-0 just like the cowards that beat us.
