Depends how the team plays.
In a team that wants to attack out and out, have possession, and press high up the pitch, he is WC.
In a team that wants to sit inside the box and defend, maybe not.
He will be a starter 100%.

It's a pity we didn't go out and out for him.
He is ideal to replace Lenglet either in a back 3 or in a back 4

You are trolling mate obviously

Just cause you disagree does not mean he is trolling

Alaba is a great player and a great addition for RM. A bit overpaid though.
But certainly not a transfer we as Barca fans can be happy about.

Massive, 5 year contract for a guy who is 29.

Nobody else wanted to pay this kind of money for him, says it all.

There's definitely been a compromise here.
No way Alaba's getting his initial wage demands plus a 5 year contract.

I'm sure he's on comparably low wages but with some additional years on the contract. In the end he'll earn as much in 5 years as he initially would in 2-3 years.

With Covid the clubs will be looking to postpone payments until normality resumes.

Villarato!
I wouldn't put bets on any compromises with RM who are getting absolutely done on deals in last 2 years or so.

20m for them (father and agent) + 12m (24m) net per season for five seasons. Does not look good to me, but he could be another Modric who came to Madrid when he was 28.

Definitely overpaid and will important in what position they plan to play him.
As LB he obviously is class, even as CB he can be good depending on tactics.

But the guy thinks he can also play as CM or AM but he is total crap at that.
