I feel ambivalent about this; it is a great opportunity for Dani to get the rest, but at the same time I am a bit disappointed with Dunga's decision to play Maicon as a starter. Maicon is dreadful when it comes to defence; Brasil already showed some weakness and almost conceded a goal.

to me Dani Alves is The best player in his position,I think that from time he was playing for Sevilla and I was like to see him in FCB,now its here and I am very happy because of that

Had a funny freekick today against Italy lol They took like 3 minutes to set up the wall, and Dinho faked and it was all set up so well, finally his shot ended up somewhere near the corner flag :lol:

That's why I didn't want his yellow repealed. The Gijon game wasn't every important.

Believe me suspension is the only way Dani boy won't play, this man loves to put in 90 minutes every weekend for Barca.

I liked the way Pep tweaked us at 3-4-3 once we were down by 2. Abidal, Caceres and Pique were at the back and Dani was a regular MR

Yeah, I used to watch Sevilla just to see Alves. Me and a friend (also a barca fan) have been placing him in Barca since 2005, and been really disappointed for every year that passed. And look now! Is he a defender?, a winger, a striker? Yes, yes, and yes!
