The thing is the club won't do shit about it. Match after match we get a fucking stinker from ref and club doesn't do shit.
I would love to see club forfeit the league and stop playing. Move to another league ASAP.

Well, long story short, is that we knew the lessons that AM taught us today. They started strong last season in the first leg 2-0 after 10 mins or so, but then we were at home and we woke up in time. This time, it was at Metropolitano, and sometimes if you have a crap night, and you start like that, you never really wake up and you lose 4-0.

So, AM beat Madrid 5-2 and Barca 4-0.

I am not basing it only on their line. It's a super close play, based on the replay, Cubarsi is either dead level or just very slightly offside. Almost surely he is not farther back than AM player when Lewa touches the ball.

I didn't even celebrate the goal because I knew it can be called offside personally. So that play is not my main gripe with this ref. It's the way he let AM players know they can get away with clear yellows in the start of the game and give them nothing.

You give 2 yellows like he should have done, then those AM players can't afford to go in as hard as they did.
Oh yeah, they were psyched - warrior mindset... but they also committed a lot of fouls, ref should have talked to them early on that if they continue he'll be giving out yellow cards.
But Atletico did well on the counter, Griezman had a great evening and Lokman looks like a very good player. 30M is a fucking steal for such a player, wish we could have got him - how are Atletico spending much more cash than us? What the fuck is going on? They're spending almost like Liverpool and City?!

this is moment right before or moment lewa makes contact with ball.

Cubarsi again onside lol

I don't know about that. This is the point of contact for Lewa, based on this image, can't say for sure that he is on or off. But if I had to guess, I'd say he's off a bit due to perspective.

So you are saying in the image during game the line is drawn in wrong place?
I am saying they might have picked wrong frame. I think what refs are arguing that once ball went up it touched lewa a second time. But the ball moves away from him as it goes up. From other angle and if you let video continue from what I share its clear he makes no contact afterwards. I dunno what they think they are seeing really.

But the frame they shared is not where lewa made the pass.

he’s on. You have to tilt your head a bit and you have a better perspective.
Turn your phone 50 degrees to left.

Not two separate touches, but the ball scraped him. It's not a clean contact.

It doesnt need to touch Lewa a second time though.

Why does that come into it?

It's a 50-50 call. In situations like this it makes more sense to stick with the decision on the pitch if you can't say for sure if he's off or not. So, I can agree with that, but they just apply this stuff like robots.

I don't know if the lines they draw have some margin for error or something, or they just they put them and if it's off by a few pixels then they say it's offside.

I would say it's the latter. They put the lines, and Cubarsi's tip of the boot stood out, so they flagged it off.
