This week hurts Madrids reputation a lot. Casuals usually dismissit when we say Madrid are favoured and refs are Madridista's.
Now theu are finally waking up to it. The ballon d'or stuff, Arsenal match, Mbappe tackle and ban already did it a bit.
But this week has been extreme. The pressure on the ref was disgracefull and it paid off since he favoured them on the pitch. No penalties for us, gave them two but was corrected by the linesman, no yellows and then the complete meltdown when they rightfully lost.
The world woke up thinking what we already know. Madrid consists of a bunch of entitled crybabies that cant take a loss. Think they are being screwed over when they are not being favoured into a win and this unsportmanlike behaviour as a result of the entitlement echoes troughout the whole club.
Its been these way forever and was the same during the mourinho era for example or when they won those cl's but people turned a blind eye for sone reason.
Now everyone rightfully despises Madrid today due to their own behaviour which wasnt royal at all...
Outside of them making complete fools of themselves it was a great win and we finally seem resiliant compared to years past.
It was inportant since a loss would have hurt us on wednesday as well. Lets hope this team carries the momentum and believe into the tough Inter fixtures and the rest of la liga.
Treble dream lives on!
Whilst I generally agree, the truth is, nobody really cares if Madrid rob Barca of domestic trophies year in year out. Not even in Spain.
And no fans of EPL clubs are going to care, as a lot of them hate Barca and nothing will change that.
Hence, the desire to sway neutral minds to prefer Barca over Madrid and awaken them to Madrid corruption is more often than not a hopeless task.
That's why I am all for doing things and saying things that will benefit Barca. If it makes us ' look bad ' or ' hurts our image ' then so be it, because the harsh reality is that our popularity amongst other football supporters is a war Barca will never win anyway.
