One of the biggest waste of talents in Argentina. He had the potential to become the best in the world but it seems going to Lazio was a bad move for him. How I wished he could go to Barcelona instead cause he could fullfill his potential in there rather than in Italia. And I believe he left Europe way too soon. Dunno why he gave up the idea of staying at the top level and instead going to Mexico and US. He was one of my fav players back then and just like many other Argentinians of his generation he didn't get what he really deserved. Feel really sorry for him.

I was a huge fan of El Piojo at Valencia but even then he was inconsistent and somewhat injury prone. He was too frustrating for Barcelona, especially the state the club was at during Lopez's peak.

It's a shame he was so erratic.
