Hard to imagine Inter will be so lucky this time.
But it is conceivable to see them play better overall and thus produce more chances. Especially since we are basically without full backs and they will have home crowd behind them.

What brings confidence is this Barca showed numerous times this season that it knows how to come from behind and will never crumble.

Lot of advantages for any club to play 2nd leg at home in front of their own fans, 90 min away from a final - nevermind Inter. Even more advantages when the opponent is without key players

But, with this team under Flick - there is always belief

Given that we have no fullbacks, we should try to salvage some positive out of it, which is that the 2 cbs on each wing should not venture as far forward as a baseline starting position.

Their average position should be far deeper, and while that means we have fewer options in attack and our wide players getting double teamed easily, it also means the threat on the counter is lesser as the deeper CBs can press aggressively on the most advanced midfielder and still know there's the 2 cbs at the back to cover the runners from deep. When our fullbacks are positioned as wing backs, thr CBs push for the press and we are exposed to the midfield runners because the wingbacks aren't coming back in time.

Also, the loss in attack is only notional or theoretical because, for e.g. when Íñigo pushes up, it's basically meaningless. The only thing rhat happens is there being a body there but he can't really do anything with the ball other than pass back so it's completely pointless to NOT be much deeper. The worst option is having 4 cbs and still saving our lb and rb keep their average position extremely high in a bid to try and maintain the similar tactic, which is taking all thr negative and no positive from thr situation IMO.

So it seems like Balde is 100 % out of this tie while Inter is remaining cryptic about Lautaro's status. I fully expect him to start now.

There are just way too many injuries in this squad for me to see a result. I would be happy if the squad gives their all. If the tie does not end in our favor, I hope Inter go on to win the whole thing. QSG winning it is just :sick:

I just know Araujo is getting cooked on an offside trap for a goal. Also if we play Gavi instead of Olmo I just know we aren't scoring more than 1 goal.

Also for some reason I expect a nasty nasty game of fouling.
