CL Semi Final: Inter - Barca 4-3

We have to be very careful here because Inter didn't show really how good they are in the first leg and have managed to get away with a drawn game going to San Siro.

In the first game they were much worse than usual but in the end still gave us a lot of trouble. They will be better organised now and cognisant of our defensive weaknesses.

Them getting a draw whilst they were playing far below their level is a bad omen, we should really have taken advantage of that first leg and we let ourselves down with defensive errors.

About this - I think I read a similar post from you, but Inter show so well how simple football can kill when the defense is tired, they don't use their physicality or dribbling or star talent to punish you, they just pass and move so efficiently and creatively that you struggle to read them.

They think quickly and they are so experienced tactically.

If they have time on the ball they are the perfect foil for a high line and offside trap.

Very unpredictable with their runners from deep.

Yeah sadly everything speaks for Inter in the return leg. We'll dominate, but without our fullbacks and Pedri always tired in the second half, I don't see us playing a perfect game that is needed to win this. Inter will kill us in counter-attacks.
We need them to miss clear chances and Szczesny in a perfect form, while our attackers have to be more clinical. It'll depend also on who will score first. We need to force them to open up by scoring first, otherwise we'll run against a bus the whole game and they kill us in counters.

I don't know, for me that's too many things that need to happen for us to go through. And I didn't even consider the shit refs we got, nor that Inter will probably manhandle Lamine, as they know refs allow more in these kind of games and tend to keep the game flow going, while on the other hand only give penalties in very clear cases.

In the groupstage, with both teams fresh, we would have destroyed them, but now it's only about who has the better legs. Good job corrupt shit Uefa.

Won't be end of the world though, if we go out here. With LaLiga + CdR it'll still be an exceptional season no one thought possible in the summer

We will win because the front 3 will play out of this world, specifically Yamal.

And Lewa will be back to steady the ship and link up Yamal and Raphinha better.

We should include Balde in the squad so Inter would be guessing until the end. They did that to us in the first match and are doing it now with Lautaro. We're just making it easy for them.

Well, everything except HIM
Need to wait in what form he'll be and how long he's able to play. But yeah, he could be our secret weapon in the end. I don't say it's impossible, but today, I'd give 70-30 % for Inter to go through.

This. It's the Art of War and Barcelona has always been shit at this.

Spaniards are Tier C in terms of this compared to Italians who are Tier A.

Simone Inzaghi: "Lamine? We will double mark him. He will be under strong marking."

Rapha and Ferran better don't waste the free space Lamine gonna give them.
