The 5 in the middle worry me. I wonder what gameplan Flick has for that Inter midfield.
Will he try and bypass them directly over the top or try and cut straight through or concentrate on using the flanks to attack.
Tactically this game is going to be intriguing. Inter may be off form but they will still cause problems. I only see fatigue troubling them in the last 15vto 20 minutes.

Think we haven't played our best in the last matches. If we do it tonight, Inter will be done with. Think Pedri, Raphinha, Olmo, all of them can give more. Only Yamal has been in good form for me lately.

Tonight, if we have a great game, we could score 3-4 past Inter. I have no doubt that at our best we can score 3-4 past anyone.

As usual with Flick Barca, I have no worry we'll create the chances and we'll ultimately score the goals. But... the defense... still making errors that makes it easy for the opponent to score without doing anything great.

Yamal wasn't that good against madrid.

I agree! And Yamal always does his very best in important games, just hope Raphinha can get his spark back because he's been meh last month or so.

Raphinha needs clutch moments, that's his mojo. He doesn't add that, he can't help out that much.

In midfield, very worried with Pedri's recent performances in the 2nd half. We need Raphinha to be clutch, and for Pedri to be consistent for 90 mins. These will be key for us to get a great win today.

Raphinha had at least 4 situations vs Madrid where he should have done much better. Pedri disappeared from the game when Madrid were pressing us in midfield. Both need to wake up and deal with the pressure. I know it's tough considering they are probably mentally exhausted and physically not in great shape, but we're almost there, we need a massive effort. There will be plenty of time to prepare for the CL final if we just deliver the goods in this tie vs Inter.

You really think Pedri declines in 2nd half recently? Hmmm, I haven't really taken notice...

For sure. Both Pedri and De Jong were very very bad vs Madrid in the 2nd half. Didn't control jack shit as Madrid were charging forward and putting huge pressure on our back 4.

Not only that, but a good amount of chances Madrid created were either from set pieces or individual fuck-ups by De Jong and especially Pedri.

Defense held up well considering all that, but that should not happen.

Pedri is very important for us in midfield. If his level collapses and he gives the ball away cheaply under pressure, we're in trouble.

Pedri's decline in 2nd half is fatigue imo. Not sure if it can be solved at this stage of the season.

Raphinha is out of form. If he kept his earlier season's form, he would fully deserve Balon d'Or. Hope he still has some clutch moments left in him.

We can't be wasteful tonight, Inter won't give us many chances. That goes especially for Raphinha. We need a result tonight, that will force Inter to open up in the second leg.
