Lucho being the one to finally turn this abomination into a team can’t be a surprise

Football media will not focus on it but remarkable the change in fortune by losing Mbappé, they play excellent football
And remarkable Madrid's change in fortune by gaining Mbappe.

Great player, but comes with some strings attached.

Lucho is still not getting enough praise, he's doint excelent work again.

Too bad he never had a chance to work with Yamal at NT, I'm sure they would be amazing. Well, we'll see that at Barca some day...

I feel like Lucho is more a club coach than NT coach. He needs time to implement his ideas, which you don't have with NT. PSG were not good until December last year. But then something clicked and now they are flying.

Lucho is full on and expects a hell of a lot of running/tracking back/movement and discipline.

When it clicks it is class.. but when it doesnt and he clashes with players/they get tired of his ideas it can go south quickly.

Could be that PSG play like this now and win CL.. then drop a lot next season as its hard for that relationship to maintain and its different coaching a bunch of young hungry players who have not won much to a bunch of CL winners.

Kvaradona came in in the winter transfer. Yesterday he was key.

And remarkable Madrid's change in fortune by gaining Mbappe.

Reminds me Barca 07/08.

We signed Henry, Abidal, Yaya.

Last year of Rijkaard and wheels were evidently falling off, motivational issues, structural and training efforts.

Next year with Pep, same signings played much better while offloading Deco, Ronaldinho, etc.

Rest is history.

Not saying Xabi would have the Pep impact, but there should be a noticeable difference.

Even for Madrid right now, Mbappe isn't the problem and is/was playing well second half season.

They need a lot of players if Xabi will continue with his system (maybe he'll change to 4 atb?)

They don't have enough CBs and no wingbacks (I guess TAA will be one). How would it even look?

Courtois
Asencio Rudiger xxx?
TAA Tchou Jude Valverde xxx?
Mbappe Vini

They could be better but it's not an easy task. If we'll be on this years level then we're favourites.

EDIT: Just saw in which thread we are, this doesn't belong here. :ROFLMAO:
