También soy fan del AC Milan y del Barcelona.
Dejaría de lado cualquier alusión al campo del San Siro, que ahora está en excelentes condiciones. El problema con el terreno de juego ya existía hace quizás 20 años, y todavía lo riegan antes de cada partido.
Por lo demás, el AC Milan en la 2023/2024, por culpa de un Pioli testarudo, perdió 6 derbis consecutivos contra el Inter, mientras que este año, tanto con un entrenador mediocre como Paulo Fonseca (pero no tonto), como con un buen entrenador como Conceição, ganó 3 derbis de 5, empatando los otros dos (uno de ellos con gol encajado en el minuto 91).
El Milan de Pioli jugó con una defensa alta sin adoptar contramedidas.
Gracias a dos nuevos entrenadores, la receta contra el Inter fue sencilla: jugar con un hombre más en defensa.
Las formaciones fueron 352 en el reciente derbi ganado 3-0 (que se convirtió en 532), mientras que en el otro derbi fue 433, pero uno de los centrocampistas se incorporó a la defensa (sobre todo por nuestra derecha, la banda más débil) convirtiéndose en 532 o 523. Jugamos casi en una imagen especular sin una defensa alta.
El problema del Barcelona en San Siro será si utiliza la misma actitud que en la ida.
El entrenador tiene que hacer un gran trabajo y adaptarse, no es un problema de individuos sino de táctica. El Inter tiene jugadores mediocres pero Inzaghi sabe ponerlos bien en el campo. Llevan años ganando jugando de la misma manera y al contraataque. Como se ha escrito más arriba, el técnico del Barcelona, al tener jugadores técnicamente más fuertes, debería simplemente sorprender al Inter con algunos cambios tácticos defensivos que dejarían desorientados a los jugadores del Inter. No sé si hay jugadores del Barcelona que puedan sumarse a la defensa, pero proteger los 2 flancos es fundamental. Luego será el Barcelona el que reanude el partido con la velocidad y técnica de Raphinha y Yamal.

I don’t get it. We don’t need to look at track and field. The rules for offside look at all the parts of the body one is allowed to score with.

The foot is one of them. The main one actually.

The team had played a long, intense high pressure and emotional match vs Real Madrid a few days prior to the first leg so this somewhat inconsistent performance might not have been shocking.

Inter played on Sunday, but they didn't have to go through 120 minutes vs. their biggest rivals getting kicked the shit out of them.

Think we'll see a different and more composed side in Milano that will put Inter under immense pressure being well rested.

Inter dont have to travel back from away game in early hours of Sunday then have to travel across Europe by the Tuesday.

Barca will barely get any rest time.

Inter will be in Milan since yesterday and most likely rotate heavily at weekend.
