That feeling that there was actually a chance to win this hmm. Before this match started i thought this will end like the game before but they saved some face atleast.

At the end its just impossible to win games like these with players like lenglet griezmann and co. We couldnt ask for more than a decent performance and they gave it to us.

nah mate the first half was better than any half chance creation-wise in the last 2-3 years. PSG were shitting themselves, they weren't lazy. 2nd half was done and dusted though.

They weren't pressing at all. We had 73% possession in the first half. There is no way PSG allows that amount of possession normally at home. They were clearly playing it safe and didn't want to risk pressing to leave space at the back. In the first leg, they were actually pressing us and attacking us.

I'm not saying that we didn't play well..... because we did. But it was a weird for PSG. They were all but through and couldn't play as normally as they wanted to.

Dont agree. They were rattled if Messi had scored that penalty after trying to play same was as first leg in first half.

What the lead allowed them to do is just try and sit back after that.

they had tons of space at the back though because we kept finding it. Tried to play defensive and we were all over them. Agree that we still haven't passed the test against a pressing team, but the signs are encouraging if we make the right transfers.

Nah, Mbappe is really good. With better service he could be a CR7 type player. His finishing is leagues ahead of our "star" French players.

Looked to me that they tried to play exact same way as first leg but Barca were much better than them on the ball that first half and after that just sat back without barely much idea to punt it long.

They were not wanting to come out tonight and coast to a win they wanted to embarrass Barca and rack up similar scoreline. Barca stopped them but far too little too late.

Totally agreed. If it was 1-2 they would be very nervous like in 2017.

they did try to sit back and were abysmal at it, we had enough chances to score 5-6 goals in the first half and our press was superb. Gave up after Messi's penalty, not Mbappe's.
