Barรงa announce strict measures for the UCL match vs Eintracht Frankfurt โ€”
โ€ข All tickets will go to club members only (except the UEFA away section).
โ€ข Tickets will be only sent via the official SOCIS app, and not in the PDF form.
โ€ข Tickets will be non-transferable; even prior transfer requests wonโ€™t be valid for this match.
โ€ข Security will be reinforced, with visual checks to stop Eintracht fans entering illegally.
โ€ข Ticket sales will be monitored for fraud, and any irregularities will be sent to the Disciplinary Commission for sanctions.

Barรงa have identified the 100 socis (club members) who resold their tickets for the Frankfurt match since yesterday. They will now be forced to watch reruns of Xavi's Barca versus Frankfurt. [@sport]

Happy for the Frankfurt fans who already paid 500โ‚ฌ for a ticket that will be invalid for them. As to the socios, there should definitely be a punishment to sell their tickets in this game. The reselling system has it flaws, but it also encourages people to become socios in the first place, which is why the club keeps it. The system is intended for the honest fans who really only resell, if they can't go, not to make money. That ensures always a full stadium and the club earns even a bit more money. The problem is always, when people start to exploit these systems for their own benefit.
The easy thing to fix would be to up the mandatory attendence in order to keep the seasonal ticket. Make it like 75-80% of the games per season and only make exceptions for medical reasons.
And since the resell is only allowed on the official Barca platform, set a certain maximum price, so they don't get a big plus reselling their tickets. Take away their motivation to make money with it and then you get rid of the people who only keep their season ticket for profit.

So they've identified Socis who sold their tickets for the second time against a club that embarrassed them worldwide the last time and they have decided that ' they will be referred to the disciplinary committee for sanction. '

That sounds like a slap on the wrist for me. Should be an immediate banning from the stadium for life, especially for such a little number of fans ( 100 people ). Make an example that will stop this happening in future.

These Socis get on my tits and have too much power. They are NOT people who are struggling for money who love Barca. The fact is there are thousands of Socis who don't care at all about the club, or football in general at all, and see their season ticket as nothing more than a business opportunity, which they can, and do, make a profit on.

The were even rumours of one wearing a Real Madrid Figo shirt at election voting in the Barto era.

Socis are a huge problem and need a massive flushing out from top to bottom.

This guy gets it.

These guys aren't even real Barca fans. Just trying to make money out of it. It needs to stop. The club needs the money. We need to put the club first. Without club there's nothing.

When the capacity is this low there shouldn't be any resale. It's should be for only real fans who show up. Different when it's 100k capacity. Tough to reach it every game.

Did they rest players for CL?
Nope, they're just in a bad form this season. Some say they're back to normal after overperforming the last couple of seasons. Selling your best players and hope to maintain your level is not a stable long term strategy. But it's not like they have a choice to refuse 100m offers, so I'd say it's just natural for a team like them to struggle at some point.

We don't have any excuses on Tuesday.

Real supporters and not even violent are somehow a problem. And add to that great spenders too. They are literally among top 1 percent of fans that any club would kill to have.

Only thing embarrassing are Catalan socis and idiots running the club so they vilify Eintracht fans.

Truth
According to Transfermarkt, only 2 strikers are injured:

Burkhardt, Chaรฏbi, Knauff and Uzun are injured with Hรธjlund, Larsson & Batshuayi all returning from injury unable to play 90 before yesterday and latter went off injured again

Theyโ€™re wounded and pose no scoring threat
