Lewy can get yellow card for talking, Yamal can get yellow card for talking, but the defender can get a yellow card only for saving team with tactical foul.

Araujo got first yellow card for talking, when referee gave us the ball because Chelsea were offside. I dont know if he is using his brain or not, but 12 minutes later he got second yellow for useless foul.

Araujo was the worst, but still our team wasn't good enough.

The good thing is that we have now three easy matches in a row, so we will be in 1/16 UCL anyway (still some chances for 1/8, but mathematical only).

Both teams were nervous a lot in opening minutes, and difference was tuna missing a sitter, their confidence grew and our balls got shrinked. You could see from the ball recieiving that our players were not up to task. Our middlefield was crushed. Frenkie played like he got 2 kilos of shit in his pants, fermin was bullied like the first grader, eric started strong but limitations were shown quickly.
They overcrowded the mf, simply overrun us. I liked the maturity they showed leaving our backline to get the ball not pressed knowing that their only option is to kick the ball far upfronzlt or pass it to fdj as he was only capable of carrying the ball out and he got closed down by 2,3 players.
Lamine was forced to drop back a lot because ball couldnt get in front in clear areas.

Our limitations considering our squad depth and our inability to play with plan b or c were exposed, and we got served.

Inigo is heavily missed this season.

On the bright side, we are at least 30% weaker squad without pedri and raph in our starting 11.

Move on

Araujo ruined the match for Barca.

Maybe if we had a budget like all of our rivals we could have rebuilt the defense.
We don't have a budget like other teams cause we always buy stupid players,we bought a 34-35 years old Lewa for 50 mill plus another 60 mill in salary to now have a 40 years old striker

I’ve been saying it for ages. None of these defenders know how to defend, high line or not.

Fucking hilarious some of the narratives coming from this fan base thinking these players are some of the best and Flick of all people are holding them back lmao.
AMEN to that.

When they will learn to keep their mouth shut ? Shut and just play.

That first yellow was ridiculous though. You make a rule that only the captain can communicate to the referee, and then when he does, you give him a yellow. It's inane.

That second yellow though, so stupid so early in the game. But then it's Araujo, the gift that keeps on giving.

Even with gazzilion spent by our European rivals and us having to rely on bums because we have no budget we'd still go toe to toe with Chelsea if 11-11.
I'm always baffled at how people see these games as being close.
We had ONE big chance mostly because the Chelsea defender being dumb and us pressing well to get the ball. We otherwise haven't created shit all game. Chelsea were better on every metric, even before the red card.
Truth is that bar the shitshow that La Liga is we haven't performed well against big teams in Europe in the past season or this one.

Maybe learn the difference between sensible communication and shouting whatever stuff to the referee because he didn't call a foul?

Yea I agree, I said the same in his chat and he wasn't being aggressive or anything towards the ref.

As captain he was just doing what I thought he was allowed to do

Agreed on the 2nd yellow

Ill add a caveat to the 2nd yellow aswell. The guy running through is Cucurella. If your Araujo you should know that if you recover you can outpace him and at worst put pressure on him. And that B, if you manage to put pressure then Cucu's first instinct will be to find the pass and not shoot.

Just low IQ all around- unfortunately.
