More excited for this than Elche.
It's Champions League and not Florentinos and Tebas shitground plus an away match where we'll see a great atmosphere.

Brugges lost against Bayern and Atalanta away but did beat Monaco 4-1 at home.

Definitely should not underestimate them. And we can't afford to lose points.

Very tough game with the current form. If we underestimate them, we will lose. No time for being cocky.
I don't think we'll be cocky, but lately we're a little lazy and unorganized. This won't be a "simple" game, but I have a feeling we feel we want to get revenge for the last month of so-so performances and this will be an "easy" win.

No games in CL are simple. Unless you get major luck and you draw some Karagandy or some Pafos or some shite, some teams that made CL group for the first time and made a national holiday out of it. Brugges are a good team, if we'll play like shite we can lose points.

Brugges were close to finish top 24 last season and only lost their place in the 2nd half vs City I think. Beat Monaco 4-1, not a bad team at all. Pretty intense also, and with our backline, not very confident personally.

Frenkie and Casado are both on 2 yellow cards. If they get booked again, they need to sit out Chelsea and with Pedri missing, it would be the worst case. They need to control themselves and Flick needs to sub them, if the game is in the bag.

Could see us losing points here if we (again) don't take it seriously. Saw some rumor that Espart could start, that would be interesting.

Maybe Eric will start in midfield tomorrow then.

I'd start normally with Frenkie and Casado, but sub them early second half (55-60min) for Eric and Bernal with hopefully a good lead, when ref tends to book faster. Can't underestimate Brugge too much, they had good games as well.
