I rewatched the first half few days ago and second half last night. Around 70ish min Martin tries to dribble fast up the side and Hak picked him off like taking candy from a kid. Half fit Vit usually looking to progress the ball in tight spaces and he's making himself available around oppo box after quick passes unlike panda prefers to make safe passes and retreat from any defenders else make shit inshas.

I was focusing on PSG's formation and was all over the place. 2-2-3-3 to 2-3-5 to 3-2-5 to 4-2-4 so refreshing to see a non rigid system unlike most managers with Vit and Hak going far 'out of position' frequently. You see all of PSG moving simultaneously filling gaps before they occur. Taking similar holistic view of Barca you see players moving disjointed and reactive. No different from music theory we have too many soloists performing out of sync with teammates then you have Yamal doing solos with teammates quieting down since they can't match his complexity.

Problem is when Bayern destroyed us in CL half our team weren't worthy of playing which isn't an intrinsic fault of Barcaball or post-prime amigos. Lucho's showing you need techy players in all positions for Barcaball to dominate Bayernball.

Hypothetically if Flick picked a fantasy team of any players in the world and Lucho the same, I'd always put my money on Lucho and Barcaball. Most importantly Barcaball's enjoyable to watch since it requires certain level of intelligence and skill.

What is the problem here mate? I respect all the rules, i read them carefully.
Your team copied barca, bought ex barça players coach, used their system plus Qatar money. And now after 10 years of pain you came here to celebrate. Have some respect my friend, without Qatar your club would have been in second division and nothing in Europe.

13 years of investment with 2 billion for 1 champions league.

Yeah but "Barcaball" didn't dominate the past decade of football. Not even Barca 2015 was "Barcaball". If you browse through Lucho thread you'll see people complain about "no midfield" and "all MSN" pretty much throughout his entire time at Barca:

Just read this page in January 2015: https://www.barcaforum.com/threads/luis-enrique.605/page-251

Then in April 2016: https://www.barcaforum.com/threads/luis-enrique.605/page-570

And especially around November 2016 here: https://www.barcaforum.com/threads/luis-enrique.605/page-632

His strategy is to get the ball to forwards as fast as we can. Thus "avoiding" the midfield.
It worked for 2 seasons and now it's been found out.

The players should just skype with Xavi before every game and make him the de facto coach of the team.

Ignore whatever the fuck Lucho tells them to do.

Barcelona fans in general are the most ungrateful and revisionist fans in the whole internet space. So what do you expect. People really wanted Flick to get sacked after losing 2 games in a row despite being in great form before those 2 losses playing way better football than Xavi ever did even when complacency set in.

Didn't read anyone asking him to be sacked. Not even those jamrockese lost soldiers in the jungle who still pine for Xavi

I've already posted Lucho's improved a lot since he was our manager. I mean even when he was with Spain he was fielding chihua which is just nasty.

And Barcaball refers to Xavi, Iniesta, Busi primes obviously. And yes Lucho benched Iniesta way too often which really drove me nuts. Maybe he had a bit of Xavi-ism in him too regarding legacy but at least he didn't totally puig Iniesta.

Second thought I'm sure now Lucho had legacy hierarchy preservation motivation with his treatment of Iniesta. Like family stabbing each other in the back, just look how much he relishes making us look like fools too.

I'll forgive him if he does the right thing though.
