Very grateful Inter knocked Barca in the CL sf last season, Q$G would've won the final with ease vs. Barca as it did vs. Inter.

PSG are the better squad, simply put. They are the CL holders. This talk that PSG played with reserves against us is troll talk. Dembouz, Kvicha and Marquinhos didn't play and PSG struggled most of the first half. But then just take a look at current Barca bench where only Christensen, Araujo, Balde and veteran Lewa are playable at such stage. The moment Pedri was taken off everything fell apart. Casado & Bernal duo is a complete disaster, they played like Barca B amateurs and the midfield completely evaporated.

There's no squad depth. Out of a squad of 25-28 players, we have 14-15 outfield quality players in rotation and majority of them are defensive players.

This game revealed some GLARING HOLES in our starting XI even when everyone is fit:

1) Fullbacks: Kounde can't start at RB for Barca.
Martin can't even fill in at LB for Barca

2) CF: Ferran can't start for Barca, neither can the granny tractor.

3) CAM: Olmo is several tiers below what is required. This position is a RED FLAG by now

4) CBs: Cubarsi has been abysmal this seaosn. ARaujo can't yet understand keeping the line. Eric is good on the ball, but soft in defending. The only decent one (Christensen) is 4th choice for some reason I can't comprehend

I agree with all of this. It will probably continue being a problem for while a long while since we have no way of buying all thos replacements.

Cubarsi has been ass. He needs to meet the bench and like you said put Christensen in there until proven otherwise.

We will of course ignore all the flags and only make a run at the flashy attacker so better hope we spawn more players.
