ManU got away with few yellow cards, but good game from Valencia. They need to focus on making better last pass and finish and they can win This!
Abysmal as usual from RM this season, we will be totally fine without someone like Hazard or a top striker this season, you guys!
Yes Real lack a really good striker. Asensio,Benzema, Vasquez can give you creativity but no goals.
Bayern are incredibly lucky they got away with a draw.
Ajax's inexperience cost them at least 2-3 goals in the 2nd half.
Ajax just having patches of the game where they are the superior team , while still sticking to their brand of attacking foorball. While they might lose in the second half or even concede in the next 5 minutes , it's still very impressive what they have shown so far.
Meanwhile you got some clowns over in the poll thread telling you , you can't play attacking football and win because Messi is past his prime and the squad is average (while conveniently ignoring the players that got brought in the summer), or Poor Valverde is forced to play Pique and not allowed to phase the senior players. Cant wait for the next installement of mental gymnastics.
Asensio gives us fuckall at the moment TBH.
Most of the team seem to miss Zidane and the chaotic way of creating chances without discipline. Was particularly obvious when Casemiro took a horrible shot and Lopetegui immediately told them to calm the fook down and stick to the plan. Body language isn't great and chances are few and far between, but there are some mental blocks to overcome with this team. More than any individual player lacking skill.
Lopetegui's record in club football isn't exactly great, just ask Porto fans . Difference between managing a NT and a club team and nothing from his past suggests he's capable of managing a team like Real Madrid.
Oh true. But it's an easy transition managerial choice. The only one that was available and made some sense on such level. Besides in theory the plan works, just might be untenable to execute with this group of players who just yearn for their autonomy and not have new structure imposed upon them. He has been handed a tough project without a possibility to ask for a big time transfer given Perez and the board poured CL prize money into the new stadium and don't want to spend it on extortionate fees and wages. Can't blame him for what's going on in my view. At all.
Shocking referees today. First City game, then ManU. ManU got away with everything today. City got robbed.
