Yeah I said that at the time, that the swiss system would prove to be excellent. There's still people who don't like it though.

There are annoying quirks - like Real Madrid playing against Benfica twice in two weeks or so, which had odds similar to winning the lottery lol. Or when teams from same country meet on preliminary knock out phase.
