If we get Pool that's not a 'winnable QF'

Best path for Barca is Newcastle R16, and then Juventus/Spurs/Pathetico for QF

Right now we are levels beyond Pathetico.
Can't imagine them eliminating us from CL

Newcastle R16, Juve/Spurs QF, is a good path IMO, which we SHOULD expect (even after some toil and drama) to make the SFs

From then on, it's almost certain to face one of Pool/Bayern/Arsenal/City/PSG, which I think we can't eliminate

You will lose in semis maybe. You will get to that stage I think.

We can't elliminate Arsenal who were just put in place by ManU, a City team that didn't look anything special against a RM in turmoil bar a set piece and penalty and who got wrecked by Bodo or against PSG who got kicked out of the local Cup by PFC?

I get that our defenders are clowns and Arsenal can easily score 3 goals from set pieces alone. But if everyone is fit, willing to work their hardest and Lamine is on his day, I don't think any team is really above us in a one-off tie right now. We have our problems but so does everyone else. This isn't 2021 anymore where you would never expect to beat the likes of Bayern.

Yo with a bit luck everything is possible. The teams are crap mostly. Wouldnt surprise me if Pool gets to final. CL is completely open at this point.

You sure? Don’t remember that bayern relying on offside trap as much as barca did.

Pretty sure flick took the poor defense into consideration with picking his system. There has been games this season where he has attempted to play more balanced(albeit us still being offensive)

I agree with this take, ppl are so pessimistic about this team. But genuinely, on our day, I can’t see a single team in Europe that can dominate us and destroy us. If we lose, we will lose with honour and with a fight as well.

Bayern's system was batshit crazy! You think they didn't have to rely on offside traps as much as Barca only because their press was so strong that they won the ball high up most of the time.

Exactly. His system at Barca is more pragmatic because of the shit defensive personnel.

This is actually a more cautious version of Flick's original system at Bayern. This current system is Flick's version of pragmatism. 🤣

Flick was even more offensive, braver and played an even higher line at Bayern.

The real optimal Flick system is not good for your heart! Great for the neutrals though. 😂
