Don't think current City suits us. They will tear our backline apart.
Arsenal and cl-version Pool don't suit us either.
Whenever we get one of those we are out IMO

From EPL, we can eliminate Spurs and Chelsea IMO

The only top team that 'suits' us, tactically wise is Bayern. Because they will take possession and we can hit them in transitions with Lamine and Rapha
Liverpool and City are too inconsistent. It all depends on what version you get on that particular day.

If the likes of Brentford can dismantle those 2, so can we. But not on any given day.

But that said, everything can change until quarters. Pep's side can somehow click with new signings (not likely, but stranger things have happened), while Arsenal is on downwards trajectory.

Big surprise, the league that gets pumped with oil and other billions, spending 5 times more than anyone else builds the strongest teams.
It's closer to 50 times, not to forget insane marketing and complete absence of law enforcement on fraud, let alone overspending. Like that's not even a thing there. Being an industry under protection by Cility Of London bankster mafia and infinite fake currency does make for the most well stacked teams in the world. Spain is still head and shoulders superior to fish and chips, rain all day wokedom in producing world class talent, coaches and academy infrastructure that is bailing out lack of talent in britbongistan. If they were even half as wealthy, there would be no contest, because all the best legionnaires also always preferred Italy/Spain and sometimes still do even in its moribund state.

That was a helluva win by Benfica! Absolute masterclass! Madrid had all the talent in the world, but were stymied. Vini was shut down all night long. Benfica pressed and had a good chunk of the possession and pounced on most of their chances. Nice to see the ref not fall for all of Madrid's diving and protesting; he was having none of it. Too bad we don't have refs like that in La Liga.

Arsenal and Bayern have an easy path to the quarters, then they might get City/Madrid.

Barca will probably get winnable quarterfinal but 50/50 chance at facing PSG R16 if they win their playoff.

Liverpool will get winnable R16 but then good chance of facing PSG/Barca in quarters.

City and Madrid (if they win playoff) will have a tough quarterfinal and 50/50 shot facing each other or getting relatively easy matchup in R16.
