I bet Italy hate Norway after getting destroyed in the WC qualifiers, watching Norwegian athletes wash the Olympics and now this

Nah.
Even if you think it was overall more competitive, The current era is far more stacked against teams from smaller leagues. The gap is far bigger than the 90's when the effect of Bosman was still eaely and fresh.

In the same year, Ajax, Porto & Auxerre where also in QF while BVB won the whole thing.

I agree with @DonAK , this is a better team against tougher odds.
Current era is much more uneven.

What I meant by competitve was many teams were restricted to 3-4 foreign players. Not even EU-players, but 90's were about foreigns.

To any Norwegians around here, you guys hit the damn jackpot

I know that word is probably not the right way to describe it, but what a fucking perfect country

Italian football is done.

La Liga declined but the top La Liga teams don't get smashed in qualifiers by Bodo and Galatasaray. Italy will very likely have 0 teams in the knockouts.

I promise you Barca and Real would struggle a lot vs this Bodo team

And they won Atletico away too

Away yes, we would, but if we didn't win against Bodo by 3 goals in Camp Nou that would be bad.

Didn't watch the game but Inter had 30 shots and 16 corners against them ...
Yeah but they can defend when needed. If you look at this second leg yes Inter had a lot of shots but very few of them were something serious. Bodo wanted to defend and Inter just shot without some real plan how to score

They have smart and technical forwards who would probably exploit our high line well. They would be a problem

But Inter failed to create big chances apart from the goal and one other occassion, despite all the dominance

Bodo parked a very solid bus, and were always dangerous on the counter

PS: Their coach, I don't know him, deserves all the credit. He has coached the shit out of them in transitions and diagonal runs that confuse all kind of defenses
