Now, I can say that this season there are no clear favourites for the UCL, look despite Arsenal being top of the table, Imo this doesn't really make them a favourite for the UCL, Bayern Imo have the better team even if Arsenal won against them when they played in November

History tells us that doing really well in the group (whether the old format or the new) is not really a signal of winning the trophy.

Plenty teams have struggled in group and won it. PSG last season as main example.
